We took the bus from Portree, changed at Broadford, took another bus to Armadale, had lunch then took the ferry across to Mallaig. From Mallaig we took the train straight to Glasgow. Altogether, that was about nine hours of travel!
Spent the majority of our first day in Glasgow with a visit to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. They do a darn good lemon tart in the cafe there.
