Lucca

Our first night in Lucca and we stumbled upon the Luminaria di Santa Croce - an annual festival where the whole town turns out to watch the "Volto Santo" (a sacred cedarwood crucifix) being carried in procession through the candlelit streets. Awesome fireworks followed.
